About ME

I was raised in Iowa and have had dogs as a part of my life since I was a baby. I grew up showing dogs and horses in 4-H and FFA starting at a young age. At the age of 14, I started grooming at the local dog-grooming salon under professional guidance and later worked for a boarding kennel as their dog groomer. I started my own dog grooming business, while in high school and community college out of my parents’ house. I have groomed multiple breeds of dogs throughout my 18 years of being a dog groomer. I have worked as an assistant to several professional dog show handlers. While working for a professional dog show handler, I learned everything about dog care, breed standard grooming, while traveling the east coast competing in AKC conformation dog shows.

After years of working as an assistant to handlers, I relocated to North Carolina where I worked for another dog groomer and worked at a vet office as their dog groomer. In 2020 I started my own mobile dog grooming business in North Carolina that I ran for 4 years. I am  relocating to Florida to live closer to family and start up my mobile dog grooming business again. My passions include spending quality time with my three dogs Emerson and Tenley(Goldens) and Beverly(Australian Shepherd), going to the gym, being outside and enjoying time spent with family and friends.
